Golang Job: Mid-Senior Software Developer - Go (Golang)

Derivco Sports are looking for a Senior Developer to join the Core Betting Team.

Core Betting are responsible for building the transactional bet placement and settlement systems that power our Sports Platform.

As a Developer you will be heavily involved in day-to-day technical delivery and solution design, together with a small team of software developers.

What you’ll do

• You’ll work with a team of developers to help improve the performance, resilience, and scalability of our systems.
• You’ll help migrate our existing codebase to Go (golang).
• You’ll help simplify our core architecture.
• You’ll facilitate collaboration with other teams and solve problems across our Sports platform.
• You’ll work closely with your team and external stakeholders to enable sustainable, effective delivery.
  

Who you are

• You have previously worked on highly transactional systems.
• You possess a backend engineering background and have a good understanding of scalable systems.
• You have a strong programming background in languages such as Java, C# or Go.
• You have strong experience working with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ)
• You are pragmatic about technology decisions, use the best tools for the job and don’t get caught up on the hype-train.
• You are an excellent communicator and presenter.
